CK-MB Overview
Creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) is an enzyme system widely
present in human striated muscle. When striated muscle such as
myocardium and skeletal muscle is damaged, creatine kinase
isoenzyme will be released into the blood, starting in 4-6 hours
Elevated, the peak time is 24 hours, and the recovery time is 48-72
hours.

The isoenzyme of creatine kinase is of great significance in
clinical diagnosis. When various diseases including muscle atrophy

reliable to measure the activity of creatine kinase in the
diagnosis of myocardial infarction than ECG. In myocardial
infarction, creatine kinase increased within 6 hours, peaked 24
hours, and recovered to normal within 3-4 days. CK MB, the
