Product structure And Composition
The heel blood collector is composed of a shell, a spring, a blade
and an elastic part. The housing and elastic parts are made of ABS
(Acrylonitrile-Butyrene-Benzodiene) material. The spring is made of
carbon spring wire. The blades are made of stainless steel.
Product Performance
- The appearance of the heel sampling device should be kept clean and
free of obvious burrs, stains, imperfections and other injector
imperfections. Blade without scraper, hook and other defects.
- The heel sample was well assembled and the casing was consistent
without obvious dislocation.
- The surface hardness of the blade is above 350HV10. The Ra value of
leaf roughness is less than 0.4μm.
- The corrosion resistance of mountain blood sampling blade should
reach grade B (corrosion traces can be wiped out).
- The blade of the heel blood collector can be inserted after use and
the blade is in the skin.
- The sterilization method is radiation sterilization, the product
must be aseptic.
- The blade of heel blood collector should have no heat source
reaction.

Usage Method
1. The baby lies down and the part needed for blood collection is
wiped with a cotton swab for disinfection and then dried naturally.
Do not touch the disinfected area.
2. Do not remove the outer package of the blood collector, and
place the blood collector in an unsterilized place. Remove the
safety clasp of the blood collector and do not press the launch
button or touch the blade.
3. Lift the baby's feet higher than the heart, and select a safe
location for blood collection according to the "Baby Blood
Collection Site Map", so that the blood collection mouth is
vertically aligned with the blood collection site.
4. When the flat end of the blood collection mouth touches the
skin, press the launch button to collect blood, and the blood
collection device moves quickly to the site of the blood
collection.
5. Gently wipe the first drop of blood with a dry germicidal gauze.
6.1 Press carefully and moderately, and collect appropriate blood
samples with a blood sample tube. After blood collection, dry heat
sterilized gauze was used to gently press the incision to stop
bleeding and prevent hematoma.
6.2 Drop blood directly into the transfusion jacquard card to
sample as appropriate, and then collect at least 3 consecutive
blood marks. After blood collection, gently press the wound with a
dry heat sterilizing cloth to stop bleeding and prevent hematoma.
Contraindication
1. Use with infants (including heat) unless necessary.
2. Please do not take blood in the same place twice.
3. Do not use it for infants with edema, infection or inflammation
at the puncture site.
4. Do not use the puncture site because of children's skin diseases
or skin injuries.
5. Do not select skin within 2mm of the previous sampling site.
Matters Needing Attention
1. Do not use the blood collection device if the safety buckle is
lost or the mouth is damaged.
2. The blood sample is disposable. Please renew each blood sample.
3. The safe area for baby blood sampling is between the green line
between the 4th and 5th toes parallel to the feet and the green
line from the thumb parallel to the feet.
4. The disinfection diameter of the blood collection part must be
no less than 2cm.
5. Underdeveloped blood vessels lead to insufficient blood flow.
6. If the heel needs to be preheated, 42 to 44℃ will help to
promote blood flow, but above 44℃ will lead to burns.
7. The blood collection part shall be attached to the blood
collection part and inserted into the needle vertically, but shall
not exert too much force to avoid causing deep and deep injury.
8. Please pay attention when using the blood collection device to
prevent accidental injury to yourself and others.
9. In order to prevent bleeding or inflammation after blood
collection, attention should be paid to the site of blood
collection.
10. The blood collection device is irradiated and sterilized with a
period of validity of 3 years. When the expiry date is exceeded, it
is strictly prohibited to use.
11. The blood collection device may be infected after use. In order
to prevent contamination and injury, it should not be discarded at
will.
Keep In Storage
It should be stored in a cool, dry, ventilated and clean
environment with corrosive gas, relative humidity below 80% and
temperature below 45℃.
